The Ronald McDonald House South Island Business Club was formed to help support the construction and operation of the Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch. The Business Club encourages all South Island businesses to become involved for the sake of families travelling from their own community.

 

Benefits
Membership of the Ronald McDonald House Business Club has made a significant contribution to the completion and ongoing development of our House, helping families from all over the South Island.

More than 860 families have stayed at Ronald McDonald House South Island. In excess of 30,000 nights of accommodation have already been provided free of charge to families in need. On average more than 70% of our rooms are in use at any one time and with the continued centralisation of medical services, occupancy of our South Island House is predicted to continue to rise.

Your membership fee makes a direct and immediate contribution to our House and staff involvement opportunities provide a very tangible and hands-on form of support.

Members may receive (depending on membership fee):

  • Exclusive access to the Ronald McDonald House South Island Business Club logo for use on any print collateral (as approved by RMHSI).
  • Acknowledgement and opportunity for profile in the RMHSI quarterly newsletter.
  • Acknowledgement, hyperlinks and/or profile on RMHSI website.
  • Opportunity for customised staff involvement programmes, forging loyalty and commitment to your sponsorship programmes.
  • Copies of RMHSI newsletter and Annual Report for management and nominated staff.
  • RMHSI Business Club wall plaque as a public display of our gratitude.

Membership Fee

  • Membership is for the Business.
  • Membership will be listed under a single contact name (benefits are transferable within the business.)
  • Membership Fees vary – please see the Business Club Manager for more details.
  • Membership Fee is payable in instalments or one lump sum as agreed.
  • Membership Fee may be paid in cash or goods and services as agreed.
  • Membership Fee may be paid by way of Staff and/or public fundraising initiatives.
  • A Tax Invoice will be issued to all businesses for Promotional Expenses should it be required.

Our Business Club members support us on an ongoing basis through their payment of a membership fee or the supply of goods and services we need to run the House.

Many other companies and organisations support our families on an ad hoc basis: donating or discounting goods and services as we require them, providing tickets to entertainment, supporting our volunteers and/or the various programmes we run for families.

We ask you to show your appreciation of their contribution by using them to provide the goods and services you require in your home or business...and if you're talking them, tell them how much you appreciate their support of your community. We all love to be thanked.
